On the European Researchers’ Night, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem opens its doors to the public and reveals its treasures of knowledge
The European Researchers’ Night is a celebration of science with Lab activities, lectures, workshops, shows and various science-related activities for all ages The main theme for this year is “Ideas come true – From idea to reality”. In addition, we will celebrate Einstein’s 140th birthday
The audience will enjoy an interactive game for the whole family ” In Einstein’s Shoes”, using a location-based app, lectures on diverse topics delivered by some of the best researchers at the Hebrew University, science shows, thinking workshops, films, laboratory experiments, games and quizzes for all ages, selfie photography with ‘Beresheet’ robotic lunar lander model and many more surprises
And of course – admission is free !!

Some of the activities at the event are accessible to the hearing impaired by sign language translation, the entire campus is accessible to carts and wheelchairs

The event will also be open to the wider public * another focus * of the “European Scientist Night in Israel” event, with the aim of strengthening the university-community relationship and making science accessible to diverse populations. This year we will also welcome you to the first station in Jerusalem, from 16:00 to 18:00
