The Organic Station at the First Station

Organic station in urban environment!

As part of the desire to make the station greener, we have recently added a Living Green plant hydroponics system. The idea of hydroponics is to grow vegetables on water only in a closed system. The method is so economical and environmentally efficient that it saves up to 80 percent of water and fertilizer consumption compared to regular vegetables. It gives the possibility of raising to height, without harmful plants and beyond allows the station’s visitors to enjoy a fresh green look.

In addition, the vegetables grown in the system are used in hummus Abu Shukri and allow the restaurant’s customers to enjoy the freshest vegetables with great taste and without any chemical, sand or soil sprays.

The project was part of the station’s support for green and sustainable projects and as a station that supports the environmental approach.
