Time Travel – The First Station from 1892 till Today

“There is no future without a past,” says the famous court, and we, too, are in the precincts of the first station in Jerusalem, placing great emphasis on the history of the place.

For 106 years, from 1892 to 1998, the first station complex that everyone knows today, served as the main railway station of Jerusalem, where thousands of people arrived every day. For years during the last century, the place was a central transportation route connecting Jerusalem to Tel Aviv.

We are now happy to announce the reopening of the exhibition “Journey in Time – The First Station 1892 to the Present”, an exhibition that is suitable for young people and adults. The free exhibition, located inside an authentic train car, will feature a 10-minute video that will tell the history of the train station and develop over the years until it becomes a recreation area as it is today. You will also see historical and special photos of the train station.
